Much to my delight I found our papers returned from the Haitian Consulate in our mailbox today! I have everything for the dossier. Every box is checked...every last one. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!

Unfortunately having the dossier done means we are just at the beginning of a VERY long road. I will hopefully be traveling at the end of September to meet her & attend a DHS appointment, but it will likely be 1.5 years before she comes home. Sad but true.

Fantastic news! Don't think about the long road ahead. Completing a dossier is a tremendous accomplishment. You should bake a cake and have some wine!
