I'm just feeling disconnected from this whole process and I've got to admit I'm not lovin' it. I was looking forward with great anticipation to maybe being in IBESR by now. Instead we've got nothin'. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Bubkis.
So if Anchise is not meant to be our daughter, who is? Where is she? What do we do next? Have you ever felt like you had more questions than answers? Lord, grant us wisdom (and a fair amount of patience).
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

So where would your dream vacation take place? Where have you been that has been completely wonderful and you would like to go back? Talk to me!

So, I bailed on the party, for now. I'm thinking the end of January may be a good time to get together after all of the holiday stuff is over. This is hard.

The line up of colors includes earthy ocher, braided raffia, and baked bean. Yeah, baked bean isn't the most glamorous color name. I'm thinking whoever came up with that one wasn't feeling creative that day.
This post is boring me to tears...sorry.

Living one day at a time;
Tuesday, November 4, 2008
With the holiday season approaching we have decided to just sit back and "be" until 2009. If, at that time, Anchise has not been returned to Three Angels we will hopefully be matched with another child. Even if we are matched with another child and Anchise is returned to the orphanage we will take her back at any time. We are already approved for two children on our homestudy and in our hearts she will ALWAYS be our daughter. We love her so much and she has been woven into our family in a mighty way.
Take delight in the Lord,and he will give you your heart’s desires.
Commit everything you do to the Lord.Trust him, and he will help you.He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn,and the justice of your cause will shine
like the noonday sun.
Be still in the presence of the Lord,and wait patiently for him to act.Don’t worry about evil people who prosperor fret about their wicked schemes.Psalm 37:4-7

He will not let you stumble;
The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord keeps you from all harm

This news has been devastating. It seems the time we spent together just a few short weeks ago was but only a dream. We desperately need your prayers!
Please pray for Anchise's protection when she leaves the orphanage. Three Angels has been her loving home for over a year. Please pray that she will be loved and provided for in every possible way. Please pray for her mother, and that if she realizes she is unable to parent her, that she will return her to Three Angels with peace in her heart. Please pray for our family as we wait quietly to hear the Lord's plan for us. May His will be done...
