We Interrupt this Previously Scheduled Rant....

...to bring you a VISA!!!!!!

V-I-S-A!!!!!!!!!!!!

The news made me fall into a big ugly crying heap on the floor. Suddenly every rotten moment, every prayer cried out, every fear, every hurt and disappointment didn't matter because I heard those sweet words..."Go get your baby".

The next few days will be an absolute whirlwind. I am going to try leaving on Friday provided we can miraculously pull the money together for the tickets. The number is a bit overwhelming, but I have to believe that after all this it will come together.

I am delighted to say, finally,
Mercy is coming
HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't the escorting thing still work out? I mean, if she has a visa today in theory she can get on a plane right?!

So happy for you! So excited for the wonderful news.

And if I'm reading this right, you are traveling on Easter weekend, right? How fitting. I mean, wow. How perfect is that? Perfect relationship with our Father granted by the sacrificial death and resurrection of His Son, honored world-wide on the same weekend you are going to bring home a daughter to create and form a new relationship and a new home. Where you can in turn, then introduce her to her Heavenly Father.

I'm thinking that's NOT a coincidence. . . .

YAY! Go get your girl.

i know exactly how you feel. time doesn't seem to be a factor to God...he takes as long as it takes. you will understand in a while just why it took so long- it's all about what we need to learn, not about the event itself. (our adoption took 2 1/2 years, and about killed me. until i surrendered to the time line i could not control. )
