Picture This!

Oh, I can't wait to be spreading sunshine & joy instead of the dismal news I always seem to be sharing lately. It seems the passport office is displeased with Mercy's passport photos and has requested new ones.

I've been told that Edward took her yesterday to get new pictures and delivered them to the passport office. They didn't tell him when it would be ready, just to come back every day and see if by chance they've gotten around to it.

It is no wonder I have been suffering from excruciating headaches lately! I am praying this is the last hold up and that her passport will be printed yet this week.

I just can not even believe it! Somebody does not want this girl to come home because it is an eternal war. He who is in you is Greater!

Oh. My. Word. Honestly?
Well, at least it seems like any news is good news. You know? I prefer bad(ish) news with some proposed solution over absolutely no news at all.
Hang in there. Hope the stomach pains are gone. My finally went away. Amanda

Oh, at least you've heard *something* after all this waiting in silence! Yes, Stephanie, I will certainly pray that the passport would process quickly now :) It will be SO wonderful to finally read that sunshiny, joyful post!

What?! Amazing! I'm telling you I just want to go over there and smack someone! Sorry for my violence but goodness gracious!!

Can you contact anyone like senators or representatives, anyone who could put some pressure on them to get this done?
Praying friend (and stewing too!) :)

For real?!?!

Hopefully, Edward will show up at the passport office every day and they will get sick of seeing his face and give him the dang passport already!!!

I agree! This is just as much a spiritual battle as anything else. The enemy hates hope, redemption, and new life. He will do everything in his power to try to stop/delay families from being united. But we know who has the victory in the end! We are battling with you in prayer!

so frustrating. This is what comes to mind.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1: 1-4

I am praying for you and Mercy. This IS a battle, and it's been my experience that the greater the struggle, the greater the reward. Mercy is coming!!!

Love you girlfriend.

Hang in there. We are all standing with you. It took an earthquake to bring most of our kids home. God literally moved heaven and earth. He'll do the same for you.

Oh good golly Pete! I am going to try and be positive here and say that this must mean they at least looked at her passport stuff, right? Surely this means they were ALL READY to print it. So I'm just gonna pray they drop those photos right in place and commence with the printing NOW! No, I'm going to pray instead that it's already DONE. It is way past time.
