Breakfast Time Conversation

Mr. B: Mom, you goin' to Haiti?
Me: Yes
Mr. B: Whatchoo gonna do dere?
Me: See Anchise
Mr. B: I wanna see Anchise too! I wanna go!
Me: Sorry Mr. B you can't go with mommy.
Mr. B: That's not fair...that's MY Anchise.

...see even a 3 year old can see that it's not fair she has to stay away so long.

my 2.5 year old has been watching me pack and today told me he wants to go to Haiti with me!!!

I love that both my kids talk about Haiti, see me going to Haiti, pray for Haiti and desire to see their brother and sister so badly.

Oh, so precious..Sometimes I wish life was as easy as it is seen through the eyes of a three year old. Here is an idea..maybe you could have Mr. B pick out a special stuffed animal or doll for Anchise, and have him give it lots of kisses and hugs to help him connect with her....or even a tape recorder to bring voices of the kids and Daddy who can't be there! It isn't the same, but the closest thing to it!

How precious!! I am glad you have it recorded here so that you can always remember this. I tend to agree with Mr. B about it not being fair. I don't think it is fair that you have to wait to bring Anchise home. I am going to continue to pray that the wait will be very short.

Getting excited for you!!!

Hugs,
Tracy
