The Whirlwind

The last few days have flown by with a flurry of phone calls, tears, more phone calls, and most importantly being blown away by the way God is moving on our behalf. We are humbled and overwhelmed at the outpouring we received. We continue to move in the right direction and believe that God will provide the rest of the funds we need.

We have a travel plan in place and arrangements have been made for the kids. The surest sign for me is the peace I feel about this trip. I felt all along that I was meant to go to Ghana and the judge requesting my visit confirmed that.

In just one week I will be holding Mercy. What a glorious day that will be! Thank you to everyone who has e-mailed, called, contributed and continues to pray. We are feeling very blessed!
"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.
And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways and
my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8-9

When you first wrote that the judge demanded that you go to Ghana for court...that was my first thought! "She knew she was being called there...." So, I was surprised that you were dismayed at first. I think it was just the difference between YOUR decision and the judge's ORDER that caused a blip on your radar screen (that and the cost, obviously)....but God surely prepared you!

One week HUH?? Oh my! I am about to cry thinking that in 1 week you are going to be able to put your arms FINALLY around the precious child you have prayed, dreamt about for a long time now..How amazing is that? Remember God has plans for us,plans that we make are our plans but that is why they do not always work out because they are ours and not his...I can't wait to see some more pics of your precious girl...Oh why your there, pick me a girl up too..HAHA..I am so wanting a little girl so bad but waiting for God to move my husband again..Please keep us in your prayers as well..

Oh my friend! So excited that you can begin the countdown until she will be in your arms! What a long, twisty-turny road you've endured but oh won't it be sweet to finally see your end result?!

Truly you have lived what your sidebar says about faith. Faith is BELIEVING the Word of God and ACTING on it no matter how I feel, believing God will bring a good result. Hallelujah!! One week, one week, ONE WEEK!!!!!!!

Praying you through each step of the way and can't wait to rejoice with you when your precious girl is in your arms!
