A Special Ornament

There are many ornaments on our tree that hold special memories - each of the kids first Christmas or the one celebrating our first Christmas together. We've added another special ornament to our tree this year and each time we look at it we will remember a precious child and say a little prayer for her.

Oh that is a beautiful idea! I am praying for your family and for that little girl as well, have you heard anything from the orphange about her and how she is doing?

Salzwedel Family said...

No, unfortunately we're not sure how she is doing. We just continue to pray for her. Although we absolutely want her in our family we do have peace over what has happened.

Oh sweetie, you know I'm praying!
I never knew when God placed it on my heart to bring those ornaments to Haiti, what a huge blessing they would be. I almost left them at home because they took up a lot of space. But I just felt this strong pull that I had to do it.
Now we all know. Praise God for his gift of a special ornament for your tree. I was just lucky enough to be the supplier. :)
Love ya!

How darling of Kristina to think up such a thing! I am sure it brought you tears of all sorts to look at it throughout the Christmas season. What a lovely reminder for you and your family to pray for her. Not that you needed any reminding!
