I am not really looking forward to it, but tomorrow we get our shots at the travel clinic. Jeff has already had the hep series, but I have not. I know we will get our yellow fever shot and the CDC website also recommends the typhoid vaccine.It's pretty sad that our only alone time this week includes a series of vaccinations. Nothing says romance like a hypodermic needle!

Ouch! I need to get the Hep. for a future haiti trip, but I've been putting that (and a million other things) off until we get IBESR approval. No need in dealing with the needles until ABSOLUTELY necessary!
I got the hep series and my DTP at my Dr.'s office and my insurance paid for them. You might want to check into it. It saved me some money!! I did have to get the Typhoid and Yellow Fever at the Health Dept.and pay out of pocket!!

I changed my appt. 3 times before I went in this week and got a few more (Hep A & B) and the Bacterial Meningitis shot. Are you getting that one? (I think I would rather go to the dentist that get shots). It wasn't that bad, but I did warn the nurse giving them that I might slug her...just as an uncontrolled reaction. She said that was ok with her...and I didn't. :) T
Awww, the things we do for our girls :) And with five kids, we are learning to take the romance when and where we can get it. :)
