She is just beautiful. Simply beautiful. I pray that in a few short months that you will be tucking her in at night in her new bunk bed under her new comforter with her forever sister right there with her.
This precious one is Anchise. She is the little girl from Haiti we were in process to adopt and it fell through. We love her dearly and pray for protection and blessings on her life.
Oh Stephanie,I know what you are feelng like!! I was so sad on the day that it Dieula's birthday too..But she had a wonderful team in haiti on her birthday and I hope she got extra special love that day!! If you are like me,the pain is still there,it still hurts to see her pic, hear her name, dream about her.But God has other plans for her, which I don't fully understand but she still has you to pray for her and sometimes that is more than anyone else has...I will say an extra pray for her and you tonight...
Oh, sweet little one! Happy Birthday and may your life be covered by the One who made you. And blessed by all who get the sunshine of your smile.
Stephanie, I so identify with what you must be feeling tonite. I had similar thoughts back in January on little XY's b'day.
Did I tell you I found her, and her new family? The first contact was a tad painful and abrupt, but recently, her mom sent me a note and a couple pics after I dropped a line letting them know that I was thinking of them. (It was anniversary of the day we both saw her for the first time last year.) A much nicer interplay and finally some good closure for our family, to see her so well loved and growing!
Happy Birthday sweetie, praying you are happy, healthy & loved.
Stephanie may your heart feel less heavy & rejoice in the opportunity you had to meet & love on your precious little one. The more people who love a child the better.
I had no idea her birthday was the day before mine!!!
I know there are no words I could share that would make the pain of losing her better. Just know that I am so blessed by meeting you on our trip to Haiti. I love you.I still pray for Anchise ! And I am proud to call you my friend!
Oh do I miss sweet Anchise and those impossibly chubby, kissable cheeks! I was so blessed to spend time with her last year on her birthday... This year my prayers are with her and with your family.
Faith is BELIEVING the Word of God and acting on it no matter how I feel, believing that God will bring a good result.
Faith is not a belief that everything will turn out to please us; rather it is the confidence that no matter how things turn out, God will somehow use the events in our days for His glory and for our good.
Faith is deliberate confidence in the character of God whose ways you may not understand at the time.
Faith is being willing to trust God - turning your hopes and problems over to Him and trusting in His wisdom - and knowing that somehow everything will turn out for the best. No matter how difficult or dark things become, there is always a light.
Faith is a living, daring confidence in God's grace, so sure and certain that a man could stake his life on it a thousand times.
Faith is a reasoning trust, a trust which reckons thoughtfully and confidently upon the trustworthiness of God.
Faith is not belief without proof, but trust without reservation.

Oh Dear Stephanie...that broke my heart! She will always, ALWAYS have a momma praying for her, and that is wonderful!
God bless you on this day and may God see fit to bring this precious lamb into His kingdom where there will be eternal glory and never a sad goodbye!
So sweet! Well, you can celebrate it with her very soon.
