Yesterday we had the opportunity to meet up with some other adoptive families. I just can't tell you how refreshing it is to spend time with other people who have families just like ours. Each time I have met another blogger/adoptive mom the relationship goes from being "cyber" to "in-real-life" seamlessly. It is not at all like meeting strangers, but old friends.
So the amazing and wonderful Sarah hosted a fantastic meal at her home and we were lucky enough to be invited. All the kids played beautifully together while the moms and dads talked and talked and talked. Bliss!

Me too. Totally jealous. Especially since I had a chance last week and had to pass it up! All the kids miss Mercy! We must try again soon!
Many thanks to you and your wonderful family for heading over our way! We LOVED meeting you and we simply must do it again soon. My girls absolutely adored Delaney and Mercy, too :) And I adore Delaney for teaching Hatfield her super brilliant-evil (there is always such a fine line between brilliant and evil, is there not?) "naptime" game!!!
