November 23rd

...is the day we have our FINGERPRINTING appointment! Of course I wish it were next week, but I am thrilled that we have an appointment at all. Knowing we are in the home stretch is quickly becoming the hardest part of the wait. It's like having a piece of cheesecake sitting in front of you, but being told you can't eat it. HARD!
Lilypie Countdown to Adoption tickers

I was blessed with new pictures today. One of them shows her talking on the phone with me. I love, love, love this girl!

so happy for you.
I am going to see if I have Delta miles...didn't they just merge with another airline? I will thru my paperwork this weekend...if I Have some, they are yours-but I dunno how to do it. :-)

She is so pretty, Stephanie!

Ok, so what's the time line look like and the steps AFTER you have your fingerprints?

Oh thank you for stopping by and for your sweet comment! Your Mercy is gorgeous!! I'd love to know more about Ghana adoption. How did you find her?

Once our prints clear we can file our I-600. Last time our prints cleared really quickly. Everything depends on how quickly our I-600 gets approved. A friend has her approval in 2 days, but with the new system it's hard to say how long it will take. It would probably be a quicker approval if I filed in Ghana, but I could end up having to stay in country several weeks for her visa to be approved. I don't know what the right thing to do is so I'm praying about that. I guess I have a couple of weeks to see what my answer will be.
