Denial Is Not Just a River in Egypt

I've been putting it off and putting it off, but I officially need to get my butt in gear and send in a request to be fingerprinted again. Sigh.

I'm already regretting informing USCIS of their error on our new I-171H, but I didn't want it to cause problems in the long run. So tomorrow I will begrudgingly draft a letter requesting a new appointment. I will mutter under my breath about my husband having to take an unpaid day from work, arranging for childcare x3 and possibly an overnight stay to drive 4 hours each way to have this done.

Most of all I will remember the words spoken to me a few months ago...
"If she is not home by the time your fingerprints expire, then I'm not doing my job".

C'est la vie...

I'm right there with you. I have to get mine for the third time in Dec-5 hours each way. Ty & Rick in Jan. Jessica was 15 when we started and is now past 18 so I will have to take her with me too.

I am sorry you are feeling discouraged. Cling to God's truth if that is all you can cling to.

I wish you did not have to do this and she was all ready home!

We have to get ours done for the third time before december 1st as well... (Kathy C. and I are on the same BOGUS BS TIMELINE THAT SUCKS!)
I am sorry you have to do this again. And what is with hubby's having to take unpaid days off work? Mine doesn't get paid if he doesn't work- doesn't that just make it even more frustrating? ugh.
HUGS
