The Girls Room

I caved just a little and decided to paint the girls room in preparation for the day when I can order their bunk bed. I feel like I need to keep busy planning and getting ready for the day when we finally get good news. We still have no idea why we haven't gone to court yet, but every week I pray it will soon be our turn. The beginning of each week is a new opportunity to hope for the best.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick,

but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

Proverbs 13:12

It was even nicer because I got the dark brown paint FREE. Delaney saw a commercial on TV that Glidden was giving away paint so I signed up, picked my color and quickly got it in the mail. I love FREE and thankfully the other two colors I got on sale.

Wow! So pretty! And doesn't doing up a room make it feel more real? The whole time The Boss and his dad were working on the room for Li'l Empress, I just kept stopping in and standing there with tears in my eyes. It was really happening!!!!

It's that classic "do I dare do this?" feeling that only waiting parents get. The colors are great. I also got a free can of paint from Glidden, in a lovely burnt rust. Don't have a use for it yet, but if we move it might come in handy.
