Speeding Through the Final Pieces

I once again can't believe how quickly I have gotten our paperwork back! I sent our authentications to the State of Wisconsin on Wednesday and they were returned to me today (along with the one item from Minnesota). I also received an e-mail from our translator saying she had gotten everything & would have our dossier translated before she went on vacation starting July 3rd! Once we get our translations back we just have to send our few items to the Haitian consulate & then we can pray over our entire dossier & ship it off.

Praise God that He has cleared the way for our paperwork to get done in record speed!

For this, O Lord, I will praise you among the nations;

I will sing praises to your name.

That's wonderful! I must warn you to be prepared though... after working so hard on our dossier and then sending it off to Gretchen, I felt like I was forgetting something or that there was something else I should be doing, writing, filing or notarizing. =)

Seeing those documents really gives you a sense of accomplishment. I remember when I went to send my dossier off I prayed over it, hugged it, cried over it and then when I got into the building and I labeled everything, sealed and handed it off the the person behind the desk and he placed it in a basket I became overwhelmed with fear. Fear that something would happen to it now that it was out of my hands. I went back to the car where my husband was waiting and told him how I was feeling and he said to me it will be okay we prayed over it. I said oh yeah and all my fear left me that very moment. I know for us gathering all documents and everything that needed to be done at times was very overwhelming. Congrats!!!!!
